Now, students like to read a comic books, especially Japan's manga and student read it more and more. So teachers try to use comic books for teaching. I choose this news because i think learning by comics is one of the good way for those student who read comics to study English.
Western comic patterns which most of them would be formed in A4 page and pocket-book sizes. Comics are useful to improve vocabulary and reading. In the other hand, comics such a Frankenstein and Dracula are useful to help to improve and develop reading. Long story and short story can use in different purpose. Long story can use for extensive reading and short story can use for presenting vocabulary. Student can use the pattern of the original ideas from famous writers but add own ideas in it for writing. When they read and understand a story, they can be requested to act out the dialogue and it will improve their speaking.
- I agree with them because I think students today are prefer to read comics instead of reading academic book and it can teach them English. Because of this reason, student will learn English with more fun and also attract students who do not like to learn English can improve their English skill.
