Ihub Media taps into Facebook's growth !!

Facebook is one of the most popular communication on internet and internet is one of several ways of communication which most people of the world are using because internet seem to be the fastest way of communication now. On Facebook we can do many things from their applications. So I choose this story to keep up with what will happen to Facebook which we always use as our favourite website now.

In Thailand, the total number of internet users is around 17 million and Facebook has reached 25.7 percent of them or around 4.5 million Facebook users. They use Facebook to communicate with other people around the world through the computers or mobile phones. Facebook can use for many applications such as chatting and games. Because of these reasons, Ihub media which is Facebook's partner in Asia decided to increase the seventh branches in Thailand. George Foo, Ihub media chief operating officer said that Facebook became the most popular social network and Thailand is a country which facebook's growth rapidly and he also expects to have more Facebook user in the future.

• For me, I'm the one of Facebook's user too. I think Facebook is very comfortable way to connect to other people. We can chat, share our photo or vedio, play games and many applications on Facebook. It uses very short times to share what you want to share to other because of an internet which is the fastest way to communicate with other people around the world now. Although Facebook is a very useful communication, but I think Facebook can also cause many problems and dangerous because of its comfortable too. People may pay more attention and their time to Facebook than to thier works and it may make their works not good as usaul or they may spend all of their time with Facebook and it's not good for their health, their family or friends. So we should use it in the right way and appropriately.

The Novosibirsk Returns to BKK !!

The opera is the wonderful enchanted ancient music in the world. The opera's artists must have an excellent ability to use their voice to impress people. This concert is performed by many famous opera's artists and it is one of interesting concert that is not often have in Thailand. So if you are someone who interested in Opera, you should go to enjoy this concert.

The Novosibirsk State Opera Theatre returns to Bangkok wiyh 2 spectacular performances. The Novosibirsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre. They have established themselves as one of Russia's leading opera companies. About the show in Thailand, first one is Prince Igor (on September 11) and second one is La Boheme (on September 13). Prince Ignore is an enormous production with over 290 artists, including the orchestra and it was first performed in Saint Petersburg, Russia in 1890. This story based on the true story of Igor Svyatoslavich the brave, a Russian prince. Next, La Boneme, This story is about love, loyalty, true friendship and the joy of creativity. The opera's libretto focuses on a passionate love affaire between the two Bohemians, Rodolfo and mimi.

• This news is interesting for me because I used to pay attention to a chorus band when I was in a high school. I think the opera is really fantastic music because they must use an excellent skill to control their voice to show the feeling of the song and some song is very difficult to do it. The Novosibirsk is a professional group include many famous artists and this concert is not only to sing but also perform with a famous orchestra too. I think it is a good chance for people who intersted in an opera to have a good memory from a special profession band from Russia where is expert at opera and there is not often to have a concert like this in Thailand. If you are interested in music, I think opera is the interesting choice you should pay attention to.

Concert for the Whole Family !!

This story is about one of the interesting concert that Thailand has. This concert is not only for amusement but also perform about to cherish the cultural heritage. It will be one of the ways to show the youths the cultural heritage. It will be one of the ways to show the youths, foreigner or other people who interested in Thai old culture that what we were, how we lived and many excellent knowledge which is handed down until today. • Khun Phra Chuay is one of the best Thai TV programs that I used to watch. It shows us about Thai traditionals that some youths never know or something that we are nearly to forgot it. I think we should support them to enjoy thier concert to make them have an income to make other show because something that is showed on their program is Thai traditional which almost disappear or we forget it. It is not only the duty of someone or some groups to protect Thai culture but it is everybody who Thai's duty to do it. As you can see that Thai youths think about Thai culture as an unfashionable now and start to copy other nation's culture, that is not good. This concert is also about country's current event now (they will try to use their performance to make a peace that almost disappear from Thailand to happen again and to encourage people to rebuilding the country). So if you have a time, you should spend your time to enjoy their concert and help them to protect our traditional.

BRT's (Bus Rapid Transport) opens !!

Transport is one of the important thing in daily life and we should know what is going on in transport today so I choose this story that told us about the more comfortable transport or something we call as BRT which is available now.

The first BRT (Bus Rapid Transport) route in Bangkok, from Sathorn station to Rajapruek Station are available now. It will be a special cost (it will be 10 bath through December 2010,then between 12 - 20 bath from 2011 and will be free from now until August 31,2010). There will be a machine for sale the ticket in the station but riding the BRT will be free from now until August 31,2010.

• In my opinion, the BRT will make transportation more comforable but I think it should be more route and can be use around Thailand and have a better service. And it should have its own ways, should not share with others because it may cause a lot of traffic problems. But I agree that BRT is available now because it may help traffic problems in Bankok and may make people use their own car lower.

Thailand's logistic system in lower cost !!

I choose this story because this story may be a good way to develop and improve our country to be more prosper. And it is interesting to follow that he success in what he said to do and see that he could do it and see our country being better.

Abhisit Vejjajiva, Thailand's PrimeMinister has targeted bringing down the cost of Thailand's logistic system as low as 15 percent of GDP as soon as possible and lower than 10 percent when all of the system are fully developed. They spend lower than 10 percent of their GDP on their logistics systems in developed nations so he made a statement about "The way out of the logistics crisis in Thailand" to develop and improve the readiness of its logistics and transport system to reduce costs and be more competitive with other country. And he will improve the country although it would be difficult to achieve and the previous government could not do it but he will.

• In my opinion, it's really difficult to do the things that the PrimeMinister said in Thailand today. There are many easier problems in the country that he should solve before think of competitive with other country. But it's good to see that he want to develop our country in the problem that other government could not do. I think Thailand will be a developed nation if he and the government are really do their best for the country and do not do everything for themselves.

Comics can be a good teacher !!

Now, students like to read a comic books, especially Japan's manga and student read it more and more. So teachers try to use comic books for teaching. I choose this news because i think learning by comics is one of the good way for those student who read comics to study English.

Western comic patterns which most of them would be formed in A4 page and pocket-book sizes. Comics are useful to improve vocabulary and reading. In the other hand, comics such a Frankenstein and Dracula are useful to help to improve and develop reading. Long story and short story can use in different purpose. Long story can use for extensive reading and short story can use for presenting vocabulary. Student can use the pattern of the original ideas from famous writers but add own ideas in it for writing. When they read and understand a story, they can be requested to act out the dialogue and it will improve their speaking.

• I agree with them because I think students today are prefer to read comics instead of reading academic book and it can teach them English. Because of this reason, student will learn English with more fun and also attract students who do not like to learn English can improve their English skill.

Thai students won gold and silver medals at International Mathematical Olympiad !!

Thailand's education has developed and sent more Thai students to many stages of competitions. I think that it is important to support talent student to go beyond, not only study and study. So I chose this news because this oppatunity gives a lot of chances for student that has a great capability.

Six Thai students from different school won one gold and five silver medals at 51st International Mathematical Olympaid competition in Kazakstan. The gold medal goes to Srinakharinwirot University Pathumwan Demonstration School which is known as the top ranked school in Thailand. Futhermore, students from Triam-udom suksa School and Mahidol Witthayanusorn School won the silver medals.

• From this news, I feel so pround that Thai student were able to do it too. And I think that Thai people have same feeling as me too. I think it is good to support them a good oppatunity like this and Thai students also can bring Thailand more well-known.
