BRT's (Bus Rapid Transport) opens !!

Transport is one of the important thing in daily life and we should know what is going on in transport today so I choose this story that told us about the more comfortable transport or something we call as BRT which is available now.

The first BRT (Bus Rapid Transport) route in Bangkok, from Sathorn station to Rajapruek Station are available now. It will be a special cost (it will be 10 bath through December 2010,then between 12 - 20 bath from 2011 and will be free from now until August 31,2010). There will be a machine for sale the ticket in the station but riding the BRT will be free from now until August 31,2010.

• In my opinion, the BRT will make transportation more comforable but I think it should be more route and can be use around Thailand and have a better service. And it should have its own ways, should not share with others because it may cause a lot of traffic problems. But I agree that BRT is available now because it may help traffic problems in Bankok and may make people use their own car lower.

Thailand's logistic system in lower cost !!

I choose this story because this story may be a good way to develop and improve our country to be more prosper. And it is interesting to follow that he success in what he said to do and see that he could do it and see our country being better.

Abhisit Vejjajiva, Thailand's PrimeMinister has targeted bringing down the cost of Thailand's logistic system as low as 15 percent of GDP as soon as possible and lower than 10 percent when all of the system are fully developed. They spend lower than 10 percent of their GDP on their logistics systems in developed nations so he made a statement about "The way out of the logistics crisis in Thailand" to develop and improve the readiness of its logistics and transport system to reduce costs and be more competitive with other country. And he will improve the country although it would be difficult to achieve and the previous government could not do it but he will.

• In my opinion, it's really difficult to do the things that the PrimeMinister said in Thailand today. There are many easier problems in the country that he should solve before think of competitive with other country. But it's good to see that he want to develop our country in the problem that other government could not do. I think Thailand will be a developed nation if he and the government are really do their best for the country and do not do everything for themselves.

Comics can be a good teacher !!

Now, students like to read a comic books, especially Japan's manga and student read it more and more. So teachers try to use comic books for teaching. I choose this news because i think learning by comics is one of the good way for those student who read comics to study English.

Western comic patterns which most of them would be formed in A4 page and pocket-book sizes. Comics are useful to improve vocabulary and reading. In the other hand, comics such a Frankenstein and Dracula are useful to help to improve and develop reading. Long story and short story can use in different purpose. Long story can use for extensive reading and short story can use for presenting vocabulary. Student can use the pattern of the original ideas from famous writers but add own ideas in it for writing. When they read and understand a story, they can be requested to act out the dialogue and it will improve their speaking.

• I agree with them because I think students today are prefer to read comics instead of reading academic book and it can teach them English. Because of this reason, student will learn English with more fun and also attract students who do not like to learn English can improve their English skill.

Thai students won gold and silver medals at International Mathematical Olympiad !!

Thailand's education has developed and sent more Thai students to many stages of competitions. I think that it is important to support talent student to go beyond, not only study and study. So I chose this news because this oppatunity gives a lot of chances for student that has a great capability.

Six Thai students from different school won one gold and five silver medals at 51st International Mathematical Olympaid competition in Kazakstan. The gold medal goes to Srinakharinwirot University Pathumwan Demonstration School which is known as the top ranked school in Thailand. Futhermore, students from Triam-udom suksa School and Mahidol Witthayanusorn School won the silver medals.

• From this news, I feel so pround that Thai student were able to do it too. And I think that Thai people have same feeling as me too. I think it is good to support them a good oppatunity like this and Thai students also can bring Thailand more well-known.

Thailand hope to defeat Kiwis in September !!

Thailand have many expert athlete so i choose this story to follow him and waiting for his success.





Taweesak, Thailand tennis manager believe in thai player that they can defeat New Zealand in the Dawis cup in September.

• I think Thailand may can defeat New Zealand like the manager said because Thai players have a great skill and they can do it, if they try their best.

Thongchai hits 81 in final round !!

I choose this story because Thongchai Jaidee is the one of famous golf star and he always played in good game.





Thongchai Jaidee shot a disastrous 10-over par 81 in the final round. It was a particularly disappointing end to the tournament as he had scored a four-under 67 on the opening day. Thongchai started off with a bogey at first and played it well. But a lot worse was to come in the past.

• I think Thongchai is an excellent golf player and i admire his games.
